FAST FACT - Can you recycle pizza boxes?
The short answer is - you cannot recycle *dirty* pizza boxes.
I know, it's a bummer but there's a reason behind it.
Even though they are made from paper, leftover sauce and grease can potentially damage and / or contaminate other recyclable materials in your green bin.
Good news is that you can put dirty pizza boxes into your brown bin! Compost it!
It’s always worth checking with your waste management company to ensure you are following their guidelines as some rules may vary from business to business.
